IMPORTANT: PLEASE CAREFULLY READ THE FOLLOWING AGREEMENT BEFORE USING THE ACCOMPANYING TRIAL SOFTWARE VERSION! THIS IS A LEGAL DOCUMENT WHICH YOU MAY WISH TO PRINT AND RETAIN FOR YOUR RECORDS. By using the software and its accompanying materials and documentation, you indicate your acceptance of the following Software License Agreement. This Agreement is displayed before you are able to install the Software, and is also displayed in the Software's online Help documentation after you have accepted this Agreement and installed the Software.

SOFTWARE LICENSE AGREEMENT

This SOFTWARE LICENSE AGREEMENT is a legal agreement between you (either an individual or other legal entity) and Wan Zhiliang. By installing the software and/or using the software, you are agreeing to be bound by the terms of this Agreement. If you do not agree to the terms of this Agreement, do not proceed to install or use the software.

1. Grant of License
This license permits you to use the accompanying "100 Sentences to China" computer software and its supporting materials, documentation, media and files (the "SOFTWARE") for a period not to exceed 15 days from your first use of the SOFTWARE, subject to the following terms and conditions. The SOFTWARE is deemed to be in use when it is installed into that computer system's permanent memory (e.g., on a hard disk or other storage device) or when it is loaded into temporary memory (e.g., RAM).

1.1 YOU MAY:
(i) Install and use a single copy of the SOFTWARE on one, single-user computer for the purpose of evaluating the SOFTWARE's features for 15 days (total time=20 minutes).

(ii) Transfer the SOFTWARE to another computer system for the purpose of evaluating the SOFTWARE's features.

(iii) Create a copy of the SOFTWARE on a storage device, such as an internal network server, provided that this copy is only used to install, archive or run the SOFTWARE on your computer over an internal network.

(iv) Distribute exact copies of the SOFTWARE to others, provided that you only distribute the installation program files for the trial version to others so that they may install and evaluate the entire SOFTWARE, and provided that you make no modifications of or deletions to the installation program files.

1.2 YOU MAY NOT:
(i) Use, install, distribute, or copy the SOFTWARE except as expressly permitted under this Software License Agreement.

(ii) Modify, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise reverse-engineer the SOFTWARE.

(iii) Sublicense, rent, lease, donate, sell, pledge or transfer on a temporary or permanent basis the original or backup copies of the SOFTWARE or any documentation accompanying the SOFTWARE to any other individual or company.

(iv) Modify or merge the SOFTWARE for the purpose of including as part of any other product, or create derivative works derived from the SOFTWARE, without the prior written consent of the author.

(v) Distribute any files or files which the SOFTWARE installs on to your system. However, you are permitted to distribute exact copies of the unaltered installation files for the SOFTWARE.

(vi) Permit others to use the SOFTWARE in any manner which would violate the terms of this Software License Agreement.
2. Copyrights, Trademarks and Patents
Wan Zhiliang retains all rights, title and interest, including all Intellectual Property Rights, in and to the SOFTWARE and its accompanying documentation. The SOFTWARE and its accompanying documentation and other materials are protected by international copyright laws and treaties.
3. General Provisions
This Software License Agreement represents the entire agreement and understanding between you and Wan Zhiliang with respect to the subject matter hereof, and supersedes all prior written and oral understandings of the parties with respect to the subject matter hereof. This Software License Agreement has been set forth in the English language, which language shall be controlling. Wan Zhiliang is not obligated under this Agreement to provide you with support for or to make available to you any updated, upgraded or fixed versions of the SOFTWARE. Any waiver by Wan Zhiliang with regard to any violation of this Agreement by you shall not constitute, nor contribute to, a waiver of any other or future violation of the same or other provision of this Agreement. The SOFTWARE and its related documentation may not be exported or re-exported. If, for any reason, any provision of this Agreement is declared invalid or otherwise unenforceable, such invalidity or unenforceability shall not affect the remainder of this Agreement, and the other provisions of this Agreement shall continue in full force and effect.
